Our Centre
The Canadian Irradiation Centre (CIC) is part of Nordion's commitment to gamma processing. A cooperative project between Nordion and the Université du Québec, Institut Armand-Frappier, it offers a range of irradiation services including training, testing and development. The CIC's objectives are to develop, demonstrate and promote irradiation processing technology by:
- Conducting applied research and testing
- Training technical, scientific, operations and regulatory personnel
- Providing contract irradiation services
The CIC is located on the campus of the Institut Armand Frappier (INRS), in the City of Laval, near Montréal, Québec, Canada.
