Volunteer

One Day Makes a Difference

MDS Nordion encourages volunteerism through its Give a Day to the Community program. All MDS Nordion employees have the opportunity to take one paid day per year to perform community service.  Employees can choose to assist a favourite charity, volunteer at their child’s school or participate in a community-improvement initiative.

Through Give a Day to the Community, MDS Nordion employees have helped Habitat for Humanity, the Kanata Food Cupboard, the Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre and many other worthy organizations.
