Volunteer Program - One Day Makes a Difference

MDS Nordion encourages volunteerism through its Give a Day to the Community program. This is why we give each employee the opportunity to take one paid day per year to perform community services. Employees can choose to assist a favorite charity, volunteer at their child's school, or participate in a community-improvement initiative.

Through Give a Day to the Community, MDS Nordion employees have helped Habitat for Humanity, the Kanata Food Cupboard, the Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre, and many other worthy organizations.
