Nordion GCE Works with Apiculturists to Defend Against Powerful Disease

Identifying and developing new markets that could benefit from gamma irradiation is a key focus of Nordion’s Gamma Centre of Excellence (GCE). Recently, the centre has been involved with exploring a new market where gamma can play a significant role – apiculture (beekeeping).

Nordion Speaks Out for Gamma Following Devastating E.Coli Contamination

The XL Foods beef recall that affected Canada and the US this past September reignited discussions about food irradiation.

IMRP 2013: Registration & Abstract Submissions Now Open

The 17th edition of IMRP will be held in Shanghai, China from November 4 - 8, 2013 under the theme “Irradiation for Life – Safe, Green and Growing”.

Irradiation experts from around the world will address the most topical areas in irradiation processing, including advanced materials, health care, food irradiation and radiation processing technology.
