If you are wondering what will happen to your food, consumer or healthcare product when it is irradiated, MDS Nordion can help. The Canadian Irradiation Centre (CIC), a joint venture between MDS Nordion and the Université du Québec, Institut Armand-Frappier, develops, demonstrates and promotes radiation-processing technology and its diverse applications for:

• Applied research; and
• Product and market acceptance trials.

The CIC has four research irradiators and a large commercial irradiator capable of treating small samples for evaluation or large quantities for feasibility studies.
