What is a Cookie?

Cookies are small data files that are downloaded to your device when you visit our Site. Cookies allow us to recognise your device. They may gather data about your use of our Site, or otherwise enable us to recognise you as an existing customer when you return to our Site at a later date. Other tracking technologies, such as web beacons, pixel tags, log files and identifiers associated with your device, also may be used to automatically collect certain information from you. We refer to all of these and similar technologies as “cookies” for purposes of this Cookie Policy.

How We Use Cookies

We use cookies to: (i) enhance functionality, customize, personalize and improve the users’ experience; (ii) deliver content tailored to the users’ interests and relevant online advertising; and (iii) perform analytics and manage our Sites and other aspects of our business.

What Information We Obtain Through Cookies

The information we obtain through cookies includes your traffic data, location, logs, device IP address, identifiers associated with your devices, types of devices connected to our services, operating system, network location, browser type, web browser characteristics, device characteristics, language and country preferences, referring URLs, exit pages, clickstream data and other information on actions taken on our Sites, error information, and dates and times of website visits, language your system uses, and country and time zone in which your device is located.

Categories of Cookies

We use both session and persistent cookies on our Sites. Session cookies are temporary cookies that are erased from your device when you close your internet browser. These cookies enable our Sites to remember your preferences for the duration of your visit. Persistent cookies are stored on your device until they either expire, or you delete them. Persistent cookies are often performance and analytical cookies, which enable our Site to remember you when you visit again in the future. Some of the cookies used are “first party cookies“, which are set and controlled by us, and some of them “third-party cookies“ set by external providers.

Below is a list of the categories of cookies that we use on our Sites. The individual cookies used in each category (including their name, duration and description ) are listed in our Cookies Preference Center. In our Cookies Preference Center, you can indicate your acceptance of all cookies or a selection of cookies that you allow us to use on our Sites. Third parties may also use cookies on the Sites, to facilitate the achievement of the purposes listed above or for their own purposes, as specified in the chart. Please note that depending on your selection, you may not be able to take full advantage of the Sites.

  • Strictly Necessary – These cookies are essential to enable you to move around our Site and use its features. For example, these cookies allow our Sites to remember the choices you make and provide the features you have requested. It is not possible to disable these cookies in our Cookies Preference Center, as doing so may encumber the Sites’ security and make certain features or content unavailable. Strictly necessary cookies are used to collect information such as session ID, server information and authentication data, and indicate whether you have accepted notices, consents and policies, and are eligible to access certain content displayed on our Sites. These cookies expire when you close your browser session or within a short period of time thereafter. If you use your browser settings to block them, we cannot guarantee your security or predict how our Sites will perform during your visit.
  • Functional – These cookies help to perform certain functions, such as sharing Site content on social media platforms, collecting feedback and other third-party functions. These cookies are used to collect information about your language preferences, pages you have browsed, region, and other preferences indicated during your visit to the Sites. If you do not allow these cookies, you may not be able to take full advantage of our Site.
  • Analytics – These cookies allow us to analyze information about how you use our Site. For example, these cookies collect information about the number of visitors to our Site, device type, operating system, browser, domain, other system settings, IP address, referring URLs, country and time zone in which your device is located, which pages and features are used most often, and how many recipients of certain email communications click on Site links in that email. These cookies may be combined with persistent identifiers and will be set with your consent, where required by applicable law.
  • Performance – These cookies provide enhanced performance for some Site resources and services as well as sometimes to adopt a higher level of personalization on user experience. If you do not allow these cookies, you may not be able to take full advantage of our personalization features.
  • Advertisement – These cookies are used by us or third parties to deliver ads to you that are more relevant to your interests, based on an analysis of your browsing. We also use advertising cookies to conduct retargeting activities, market research and measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign and our marketing efforts, including understanding what Site content is interesting to our email subscribers. We partner with third parties to provide you with connections to certain social networks (such as Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube) and to provide you with advertising on such media and additional features such as the ability to see videos. Where required by applicable law, advertising cookies will be placed on your device by us or by a third party with your consent. These technologies (including via pixels, plug-ins and widgets) may provide the third parties information about your visit so that they can present you with digital content on social media, including advertisements for our products and services which may be of interest to you. These third parties may receive information from our Sites for their own purposes.

Google Consent Mode

We use the so-called Google Consent Mode when using Google services such as Google Analytics. Google Consent Mode works together with our Cookies Preference Center. Google Consent Mode takes the user’s consent options from our cookie banner and transfers them to Google. If you give your consent for Google Analytics, for example, this decision will also be transmitted to Google. As a so-called “Gatekeeper” pursuant to the EU Digital Markets Act (“DMA”), Google must ensure that users have consented to the processing of their personal data by Google, before personal data of users is processed for personalized advertising. We currently use Google’s advanced consent mode. You can find more information about Google Consent Mode and how Google uses your data here: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/10000067?hl=en.
