Peggy Bourre

Peggy Bourre

Senior Manager, Production, Nordion
Peggy has over 27 years of experience in various radioactive manufacturing areas, including aseptic radiopharmaceuticals, sealed source manufacturing, and medical device manufacturing. She has extensive experience in process and product development and has played a key role in clinical trials and audits with the FDA, Health Canada, and the CNSC. Peggy is an expert in strategic planning and execution in a complex and highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Erin Coleman

Erin Coleman

MASc, Director, Quality, Nordion
Erin leads the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions to ensure that Nordion’s products continue to be of high quality and in compliance with both internal and external performance standards. She joined Nordion in 2010 and has extensive experience in manufacturing support, project management, and working within regulatory. Erin transitioned into Quality due a deep appreciation of how quality systems underpin all the work we do to meet and exceed our customer’s needs.

Erin studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo and continued her studies at the University of Ottawa, earning a Master’s of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering.

Greg Fulford

Greg Fulford

B.Sc., Manager, Radiation Protection and Nuclear Transportation, Nordion
Over Greg’s 20 years with Nordion he has taken on ever-increasing roles of responsibility. His experience spans radiation protection, nuclear transportation, product management and program management.

Greg holds a B.Sc. from the University of Waterloo and diploma in Biochemical Technology from Algonquin College.

Chris Howard

Chris Howard

PhD, Manager, Physics and Software Development, Nordion
Chris has over 15 years of experience studying and applying radiation physics in academic and industrial applications.

Chris supports gamma technologies at Nordion and Sotera Health’s sister companies. He specializes in modeling dosimetry and dose to product in self-contained and industrial scale gamma irradiators. Chris holds an MSc degree from Queen’s University and a PhD from the University of Alberta.

Terry Soulsby

Terry Soulsby

P.Log, CPT, Senior Manager, Global Logistics & Customs, Nordion
Terry has over 35 years of experience in the logistics and transportation vertical, global customs regulatory compliance, strategy development and execution. She is well versed in international markets and holds extensive relationships with senior executives and industry leaders worldwide.

Terry holds a Customs & International Trade Professional Logistics (P.Log) and Customs Trade Professional designation (CTP). She is the Co-Chair of the IAEA Denials and Delay Working Group, participating in the Transport Facility Working Group denials of radioactive material and on several Canadian and U.S. transport industry committees.

Terry has over 35 years of experience in the logistics and transportation vertical, global customs regulatory compliance, strategy development and execution. She is well versed in international markets and holds extensive relationships with senior executives and industry leaders worldwide.

Tom Wasiak

Tom Wasiak

P.Eng, MSc. Biomedical Engineering, Technical Authority for Sealed Sources
Tom is Nordion’s technical expert for sealed sources. This includes their design, testing, certification, fabrication, use, recycling and disposal. Tom is a member of Professional Engineers of Ontario and has more than 25 years of experience in the field of radioactive sources, biomedical engineering, medical devices and self-contained irradiators. Tom is a an active member and co-convener of the “Sealed Sources” working group (WG11) on the International Standards Organization’s Technical Committee on “Nuclear energy, nuclear technology and radiological protection” (TC 085). Tom holds a Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Warsaw University of Technology in Poland.

Richard is a highly organized, results-driven individual who is accountable for all Regulatory Affairs and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) activities at Nordion, as well as the development, implementation and compliance of Nordion’s safety programs and regulatory license conditions.

Richard graduated with a H.BSc in Physics from Lakehead University and a PhD in Physics with a specialty in medical physics imaging from Carleton University. Richard is certified as a member of the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine and is a Certified Health Physicist.

Richard is a highly organized, results-driven individual who is accountable for all Regulatory Affairs and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) activities at Nordion, as well as the development, implementation and compliance of Nordion’s safety programs and regulatory license conditions.
