Nordion Community Outreach Event

Nordion’s upcoming community outreach event will take place on October 28th from 6pm-8pm at the Hub350 Event Space at 350 Legget Drive, Kanata.

DID YOU KNOW?

• Nordion is licensed by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) to operate a Class 1B nuclear substance processing facility.
• The CNSC approves license renewals for Canadian nuclear facilities, and Nordion recently submitted a request for a 25-year license renewal so we can deliver Cobalt-60 to the global healthcare supply chain for decades to come.
• We have extensive programs in place to ensure the protection of people, the community, and the environment.
• Nordion has been established in Kanata for almost 60 years, and many of our employees are members of the Kanata community, living and working in the area.

This event is a great opportunity to learn more about Nordion, our role in Safeguarding Global Health®, and our upcoming license renewal.
