On June 17, 2025, Nordion partnered with the City of Ottawa Emergency Response teams to conduct a planned evacuation drill at our March Road facility in Kanata. Regular practice evaluations are essential to ensuring everyone can exit safely in the unlikely event of a real emergency. This exercise concluded successfully at approximately 11:00 AM. Thank you to all those who took part.

At approximately 8:00 a.m. on April 11, 2025, Nordion evacuated its facility following the activation of the fire alarm. In accordance with Ottawa Fire Services procedures, fire trucks were dispatched and briefly attended the site in response to the alarm. The alarm was promptly identified as a false alarm.
